We are pleased to announce that we will be running a couple of Machine Control courses during 2023. The courses are free to all club members and are aimed toward club associated in training and those simply wishing to undertake a skills refresh.
The first events will be run on the 29th April (with another on 30th September) and both will take place at Darley Moor raceway near Ashbourne (DE67 2ET). The website and Facebook page details are attached. Its important to note that this is not track based training and no high speeds will be required.

We will have access to sections of the track to provide a significant space where we can run and coordinate 5-6 machine control exercises that will include slow riding, machine control , braking and mobility exercises. We will also have access to the track welfare facilities so no one will go hungry or without refreshments during the session.
The training exercises will be conducted in a safe, supportive environment, with tuition and support offered by our own training team. It’s designed to be a fun event, open to all members, that most riders could benefit from. While limited trainer motorcycles will be provided courtesy of Raven Training, it is expected that most people will benefit from undertaking the exercises using their own machine.
Starting time will be around 10am and the whole session will last until mid-afternoon, though people are free to leave if they wish or are committed (by families and life) elsewhere.
